An ophthalmologist is a specialist in medical and surgical eye disease. Eye surgery, also known as ocular surgery, is surgery performed on the eye or its adnexa by an ophthalmologist and may include lens procedures such as cataract surgery, anterior segment surgery and oculoplastic surgeries.

Francis J. Clark, MD

Dr. Clark is a board-certified ophthalmologist practicing out of Blue Bell, Trappe, Spring House, Hatboro, Bethlehem and Levittown. His specialties include small, incision, no-needle no-stitch cataract surgery, glaucoma management and oculoplastics. While a student at Jefferson Medical College, he received high honors in ophthalmology from Wills Eye Hospital. Dr. Clark is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons (ASCRS), American Medical Association (AMA), Greater Philadelphia Eye Care Centers of Excellence. In addition to general ophthalmology, cataract and oculoplastic surgeries, Dr. Clark has a special interest in Lasik refractive surgery and advanced technologies in cataract surgery. He is on the Medical Advisory Board of Wills Eye Surgery Center of Bucks.
